Mimi & Shae

Shaelyn is really into bling and her grandma "Mimi" was kind enough to sport some for her to check out. She was particularly into her necklace as you can see by the pic. Shae is also still sporting the bald spot but it is slowly filling back in now that she is rolling over onto her belly more and more. But I must say, as the biased mom that I am, she can even make bald look beautiful!! Hopefully Mimi has her computer up and running now so she can enjoy these pics when she gets hooked up!! :)

First trip to Berkley

Friday night Shaelyn & I took a trip back to my old stomping grounds, Berkley, to visit Uncle Timmy & Aunt Kellyann. Even though we've lived in Oxford now for about 4 years, Berkley still feels like home when I'm driving down Kenmore. Sorry that the video clips are a little on the dark side but I think you'll still be able to see that she is having a ball. So when is the next Berkley cookout Uncle Timmy?? :)

"Little" Lady in Red

We were playing on the floor today and Shae is rolling over like a champ now...no more tears!! She has mastered the art of getting her arm unstuck so it is no longer traumatic to be rolled over onto her belly. YIPPEE!!

I am totally digging this weather. What an awesome night for a Tigers' game!! Too bad we're watching from our house and not at the game...if we were there who knows we might just have had another no-hitter game...just like the one Shae attended "in-utero" (Justin Verlander's no-hitter game)!!

Spring is in the air

Well, I think it is safe to say that spring is here to stay. Halleluiah!! It has been a L-O-N-G winter. Finally we can pull out the short sleeves and her little Polo dress, that I've been dying to see her in (thank you Joe & Holly)!! She seems to like it too judging from the huge smile (in the upper corner pic)!! :)

Mommy's Birthday

Thank "yunz" all for the birthday greetings today!! I had a fantastic birthday. The ultimate girl day...shopping, dressing up and eating out!! Shae is an excellent shopper and she took a power snooze while mommy shopped. Thank you Shae for entertaining G&P McCaffrey while mommy & daddy had a date. :)

Fun with food...

The first bite of prunes went down a little rough and she gave me a look like "mommy you tricked me" but then it was all good. It was fun for me too as you can see. I think we'll put daddy on the clean up crew. ;)

Birthday Review
