Christmas morning...

Good morning...

This morning when daddy woke ME up at 8:30am he said wake up Shaelyn, Santa came to our house. I said Is he still here? Santa sure was generous to us this year! I got a new kitchen. Of course the first thing my brother did was open up the refrigerator door looking for food, as usual. ;) I was so groggy when I got up that I walked right by the new kitchen and didn't even notice. Thank you Santa for all of our goodies! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!

The Everhard Family Christmas

Our Christmas celebration began early when the Everhard side of the family got together at our house. We had dinner and listened to Christmas tunes and opened lots of PRESENTS! Brendan had more fun with the bows and boxes than anything else. There was something for everyone. I think Uncle John scored a major hit again this year with his gifts. The Nerf blaster got a pretty big workout (sorry for the pummeling Pirate Pete...lol) as did the music cube. Thanks for everything!! :)

Santa Claus is coming to town...

We finally got to see Santa today! Brendan had just woken up from a nap and was plopped onto Santa's lap. I, however, was waiting patiently for the moment when he asked me the magic question. So what do I want this year Santa? TINKERBELL I responded excitedly! Mommy and I also got to tour the fabulous lights in downtown Rochester in the evening. The pics really don't do it justice. The entire downtown strip is lit up with every building lit from top to bottom. It was SPECTACULAR! The countdown to Christmas is REALLY on now! :)

Christmas at the Henry Ford

It's a winter wonderland for little and big kids alike. There was a whole re-creation of downtown Detroit built entirely out of Legos...AMAZING! Nothing that Uncle Kiki couldn't build in the basement on a Sunday afternoon. Right Uncle Kiki?? I think Papa had just as much fun as Colin & I did. :)

Snow Days

Where there is snow there are snow angels. :)
