Budding pianist...

Well...you gotta start somewhere. Ed & Shae were doing a duet on the piano the other night so I had to capture a little snippet. I love it when she just decides to do one note at a time...as you can tell by my reaction. ;)

Micro Fish

Well we started our swim lessons this past week. It is so adorable seeing the little ones splashing around and doing the frog leg kicks in the water. Shae was checking out little Joey in our class as he does the classic face plant in the water and then he giggles as the water streams out his nose. The instructor borrowed Shaelyn to demonstrate all of the exercises and she was more than happy to oblige. Wish I was able to capture some pics (sorry but I don't have a waterproof camera). I did however capture our little swimmer after her long nap! I am reconsidering taking the evening swim class instead of the morning class now that I know it really knocks her out! :)

Hand jive baby...

We're starting to do the "hi" and "bye" wave now - this is very exciting stuff for us!! What you don't see on these video bits is mommy holding the camera waving wildly to get her to mimic me on camera...no wonder the dog comes over right in front of the camera he thinks I'm calling him over. I think I hold the camera remarkably still for all of the action that is going on! :)

Everhard Family Down on the Farm...

We took a ride out to Cook's Dairy Farm tonight for a tasty treat and to introduce Shae to the cows and pigs! I think she was more interested in the kids running around and the automated hail bailer but she humored us for a couple pics.

Well, here goes mommy again with her silly video commentaries. She is really getting around pretty well on all fours...giving the dogs a serious run for their money. Never a dull moment around here these days. :)

Happy 4th of July everyone! Daddy had fun with Shaelyn today. Not only did they get to attend Sean's grad party and visit with all of her extended "uncles" but then they had fun playing when they got home. Unfortunately I had to work but he was nice enough to capture a couple videos for me before he tucked her in for the night. Thank you daddy!!

Tooth fairy...

Well, Monday I finally felt the first sign of a tooth in Shae's mouth and now tonight we saw her two bottom teeth have erupted!! Very exciting development in the Everhard household. I told Ed I was going to post a pic of her gumline tonight...just kidding. Instead I have a few video clips of her new toy that we got today on a little shopping spree. My cousin Natalie told me about this giggle jiggle toy that sings and shakes and I found it! I think she likes it...now that she finally found a way to turn it on. :)
